These are my attempt at this lemon blossom recipe. While they look pretty, the cakes did not taste lemony, but just of yellow cake, despite the pudding used. It really needs lemon zest in the cake, or better yet a lemon cake mix. But then, when something says lemon, I want to be hit over the head with it. Fine if you prefer a very light flavor from the glaze. However, a baker friend and I made these together, and had fun doing it, and they do look rather pretty.
